I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for longer than I care to admit. Now that my boys are older and you know, COVID, I decided now was the right time.
Quarantine was rough for two 15 year old boys. They spent more time than I’d like to admit playing video games. My husband was still going to work every day, plus now that things have started to reopen, he has golf and archery to keep him busy. But me, my idea of a good time is going out for drinks and dancing with my friends and since that has been pretty much illegal since March, I was getting ants in my pants from being at home. Every. Single. Day. And there are only so many puzzles a girl can do.
Cue this space. I’ve always wanted to write so I decided to pair my passion for the written word with my other passion – my family. I’m looking forward to using this space to share insights into the good, bad and ugly parts of parenting twin boys (most recently during a global pandemic), how my husband and I not only still love each other but genuinely like each other (most days) after more than 20 years of being together and the ways I like to think I’m still fun in my 40’s (duh…I’m a BLOGGER now!)
